GUY WARNER
ALBERT EMBANKMENT FROM LAMBETH BRIDGE LONDON SEPTEMBER 2009
Guy Warner was born in Birmingham, England in 1985. His first exhibition, a series of large-scale landscapes of the Canadian Rockies, was held at the Rockface Gallery in Birmingham whilst he was still at school. The entire exhibition was purchased by DFLP, a city centre law firm, for their new premises near St Paul’sSquare, Birmingham.
On leaving school in 2003 - following his success and based on his long-term passion for art and painting in particular - Guy made the bold decision to pursue an artistic career without any further formal training. Since then he has continued to develop his vivid landscape style, exhibiting successfully in Solihull, West Midlands in 2005 and at the Unique Fine Art Gallery in Shenstone, Staffs in 2006. He already has several collectors including Iain Michael Brunt (assistant to Mr Daniel Wildenstein of the Wildenstein Galleries) and educational arts consultant Lindsay Chalford-Brown.
Guy currently lives in central England with friends who provide the studio from which he works.
